Kathryn Sorensen

Kathryn Sorensen is the Director of Research at the Kyl Center and is recognized for her contributions to water utility management and policy. With years of experience, she focuses on equitable water access and data-driven water management. She served as Director of Phoenix Water Services and Director of the City of Mesa Water Resources Department, overseeing the delivery of safe, reliable water to millions of Arizonans. In these roles, she advanced the sustainable management of water resources in Arizona and the Colorado River basin.
