NAFTA to be modernized by new trade deal

Some understand that the North American Free Trade Agreement needs to be modernized, and on Monday, President Trump announced a new trade agreement between the U.S. and Mexico. However, there are not many details on this sixteen-year U.S.-Mexico Trade Agreement and Mexico’s President asking for the participation of Canada.

Sapna Gupta, a senior policy analyst with Arizona State University’s Morrison Institute and Glenn Hamer, president and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry were guests on Arizona Horizon to talk about the implications of new trade dealings.
