David Crummey, Vice President and Community Development Officer of Community Development Banking, PNC

David spent more than nine years working with nonprofits to evaluate, support, and develop affordable housing and infill development in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This work included community involvement with small businesses, residents, local and regional government, and community organizations.

Currently, he works for PNC Bank in their Community Development Banking division covering Arizona. David lives in Mesa and is an active community member serving on a number of nonprofit boards, including helping found RAIL CDC, a placed-based non-profit serving to link and support residents and business-owners along transit corridors. David has worked to create space for walkable urbanism and creative placemaking in the minds of downtown residents and business owners through things such as walking tours, co-founding Mesa Urban Garden, planning mural projects, heat resiliency work, community events, and more.
