Morrison Institute for Public Policy
A University of Arizona graduate, Ed began his education in Journalism but moved on to Graphic Arts when he saw how a newspaper is designed and printed. He was hired by the University of Arizona in his Junior year, working for Student Publications where he designed and produced various University Departments' print projects including advertisements for Public Broadcasting Station KUAT.
Upon completing his degree, Ed moved to Los Angeles where he spent much of his career designing CD & DVD packaging, as well as accompanying promotional collateral materials such as posters, in-store displays, brochures and catalogs for strategic marketing. This included editing and writing press releases, handling artist relations with media outlets, and managing artist public appearances. His initial journalism experience proved invaluable.
With over 400 CD & DVD credits and a commitment to excellence in aesthetic design, Ed was selected to serve on the Craft Committee for the 2007 Grammy Awards.
