Monday, November 17, 2014

An Arizona Republic editorial on Sunday emphasized the importance of Arizona planning for tomorrow, citing a new water initiative at Morrison Institute:

On Friday, the Morrison Institute for Public Policy at Arizona State University announced the Kyl Center for Water Policy.

Powered by a $1 million gift from the Morrison family, the center will bring together some of the best minds and important stakeholders to address the water dilemmas we face.

"The process of developing new water projects and management techniques is complicated and takes a very long time, so in order to address that potential shortfall, Arizona must start planning now," Kyl wrote with co-author Grady Gammage Jr. in a Nov. 9 Republic op-ed.
