Horizon: Documentary highlights need for water use regulations

Arizona Horizon guest host Angela Kocherga welcomed Sarah Porter, director of Kyl Center for Water Policy at Morrison Institute, Kathleen Ferris, legal counsel for Arizona Municipal Water Users Association and senior research fellow for Morrison Institute for Public Policy, and Cassie Ronda, story editor of the documentary “Camels Don’t Fly, Deserts Don’t Bloom” for a discussion on the impact of a farming operation near Yuma and the reaction of locals and water officials on the lack of water use regulations.
