Business Journal: Arizona's new education goals

Wednesday, August 16, 2017

Phoenix Business Journal reported that Expect More Arizona, a statewide nonprofit education advocacy organization, and the Center for the Future of Arizona, a nonprofit organization focused on shaping the state's future, announced new long-term education goals for Arizona.

The goals were released as a part of the Arizona Education Progress Meter, a source for individuals to learn about how Arizona's education systems can be improved upon, was first launched in 2016.

Morrison Institute for Public Policy at Arizona State University aggregated and validated data for each indicator on the progress meter. The eight indicators on the meter each have a goal to increase the current percentage, in hopes of reaching the desired outcome, and fulfilling the long term goal for improving upon the education systems here in Arizona.
