William Hart

Senior Policy Analyst

Bill Hart spent two decades as a reporter and editor, primarily for newspapers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, before joining Morrison Institute. His work has appeared in many publications, including Newsweek, the New York Times, the Detroit Free Press, the Dallas Morning News, and The Arizona Republic. He is also the author of Evil: A Primer, published in 2004 by St. Martin's Press.

Since arriving at Morrison, Hart has co-authored How Arizona Compares and Layers of Meaning: Domestic Violence, and Law Enforcement Attitudes in Arizona, and has contributed to numerous other institute publications. Hart holds a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Brown University and a master's in public affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
